Some examples are Intel-McAfee deal, BHPBilliton bidding Potash Corp for $39 billion, Hewlett Packard outbidding Dell to acquire 3Par for $1.6 Billion and latest news of HSBC in talks to buy a controlling stake Nedbank Group. However latest economic data has been weighing down investors’ confidence and optimism on growth and recovery.
